19 and Counting !
I complete 19 years of existence on Earth today and quite a life it has been, full of everything I can probably ask for. Joy, Sorrow, Anguish, Victory, Defeat - I've seen quite a lot and learned more ! Everyday of life has seen me learn something. :-). Never did I dream that I'd achieve all this when I set out. (Probably I couldn't dream, or probably I did dream something but I don't remember it). Too many people - ranging from my parents to teachers to friends - are responsible for where I am today. Esp. my parents. Thankful to each person who has had a part in making me how I am now. From St. Isabels Hospital, Chennai, Sept 26,1989; I guess I've come a long way! :-)

What's Next !
Got this picture from behind one of friend's notebooks when I spotted it while turning through it class ! All this happened when I was desperately trying to prevent myself from falling asleep after a long night doing my first Civil Engg. Drawing sheet ( A Residential Building) which had to be submitted on Tuesday. I'd never attended a Drawing class before in college till Tuesday because of various reasons ranging from Mass Bunks(GTs as they are known here) to Sleeplessness (Lol!) and because of lack of interest !
How I managed 14/15 in the CEG (Civil Engg. Graphics) Minor Exam and How I have an attendance of 7 out of 11 classes is still an Unsolved Mystery ! :-D
Before I forget what this post was meant for, here is it. Click on the picture and view it in full size and try reading through the Olympic Achievements of our own Indian Sportsmen ! Keep an Eye on .. Well .. Everywhere ! Bloopers are there all over ranging from "Narman Prichert" for "Norman Pritchard" to "Liander Pious" for "Leander Paes" ! And from "Lassangels" to "Masco" ! Sure to have you laughing !
As I was going through this, the first thing that came to my mind was how this Bhopali Printing company would have put across India's 2008 Olympic Achievements.
Probably,
2008 - Pijing - Abinow Pindraw - Gunshooting [:p] - Gold
2008 - Pijing - Sushill Kumar - Wrestle - Bronze
2008 - Pijing - Vigender Kumar - Box - Bronze
( No offence meant to our Olympic Heroes though. Just my imagination :-) )
Readers' versions are also welcome !
Isn't there something that prevents this kind of comical "dishonour" to the already few Olympic medal winners we have ! Cant a printer take care while doing this kind of a thing ! There aren't too many names, are there !

Silenced
Last week around the same time, I had this bad cold coupled with fever. And my voice became a wreck! So sad was my state that I couldn't even utter a word or two that could be understood by others. Communication with my parents were restricted to a couple of SMSes a day ! Answering the attendance in class was a "No No". No tablet or Cough syrup worked ! My friends said I sounded like one of these "English Movie Villains". I thought I was worser. Lol. Ripple was gone without my voice. I couldn't answer even one question in the second round on Day 2. My poor partner had to do all the answering! All this because of a regular diet of Two Puffs and a Mazaa for a whole week !
It was then that I understood the difficulties faced by people who cant speak. At least I was able to make some noises. They cant even do that. I'm now determined to do something for their cause once I start earning. It was only then that I understood how difficult it is for my grandma to communicate being totally deaf, in spite of which she manges to walk on the traffiky streets of Chennai all alone !
Thank You God, for making me the way I am without any disabilities.
PS: I am almost fine now and I'm back to the Mazaa diet[:p]. Please ignore the spelling errors. Doing this from outside and the shop owner chose this moment to shut down his store and here he's back again asking me to leave the PC.
Bye!
